Nha Dieu Khac-Sculptor, Doan Xuan Hung

I really like Doan Xuan Hung's work. I bought two of his small statues, and took some pictures of his larger sculptures in the gallery of the Cham Temple in Nha Trang. The sale lady said that the artist uses the local red soil to make his sculptures, the same kind that they used to build the temple with.






These are small statues-3& half X 4X 8 inches. I use them like bookends.








I like the combination of dark and light soil in this one.



These are beautiful work of art. Strong in form but gentle in the relationship with their surroundings.
