San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Sunday Dec. 31, 2006
A co-worker of mine gave me 2 tickets to the SFMOMA, so I went to San Francisco with my family on this gray, cold and foggy Sunday-the last day of 2006 to see the exhibitions.
.

The Yerba Buena garden across from the museum is on Third Street in San Francisco.

Looking toward the museum from the Yerba Buena garden.

Crossing to the museum, looking toward the left.

Lining up for the tickets.

The lobby.

The big painting on the left wall...

... And the one on the right.

There were four floors of exhibitions-modern and classic. There were collections of beautiful art work by masters like Picasso, Matisse, O'Keefe, Dali and so on, but they didn't allow picture taken of the art work in the gallery. So I took lots of pictures of inside the building instead.

The crosswalk on the fifth floor with beautiful patterns and shapes was very interesting, so I took a lot of pictures of it-left, right, up, down and all around.

Leaving the museum after buying some souvenirs at the store. It was very inspiring for me to see so many magnificient (some mediocre) art pieces. I liked the recycled furniture; the phone-book-couch, the empty-toilet-paper-roll-glass-box, the cardboard-seat-and foot-rest, and the like were very beautifully design. Perhaps I should do something with my recycled twines, apple and onion nets, and other things. Stay tuned!
