BPL's Staff Arts & Crafts Show, Oct. 2-Oct. 28,07
The Second Annual BPL's Staff Arts and Crafts Show this year is growing a little bigger-twenty one people have signed up compare to only twelve last year. It's nice to see that the show is getting more popular and appreciate not only from staff but also from the patrons as well since Pat M. (Art & Music's previous supervisor) and I started the show. Below are some of our works and comments from staff and patrons of Berkeley Public Library.

Origami earrings-who would ever know? A book filled w/origami characters read like Braille or code, waiting to be unfolded. Tantalizing.
Russia, beautiful woman, swan, silkworm...?

Erin,
Use an art class as tool, if need be. But most importantly KEEP PAINTING! You have a natural gift.

If this is one of the benefits of working for the Berkeley Public Library, I want to work here. Great Art, truly.

I like the fact of this exhibition. We have such talent & accomplishment here, and most of us go about not knowing much about the people behind the desks. Thank you.
Ay
It's all beautiful & gave me a great feeling that the library appreciates the talents of themselves. The origami is yummy. More-Berkeley should do this w/every institution!

I'm most moved to see the Battle star Galactica Viper! Do you have access to the Roving Vehicle? Also, was hoping to see some memorabilia from the hit show "Land of the Lost" (chaka or a sleestak)

Thanks! Very enjoyable after a session of hard bookwork.
